William F. Brereton, MBA
Will Brereton is a Managing Director of Newport Partners who brings nearly 15 years experience in the financial services industry. Will works with his partners in providing wealth management services to a number of Canada’s leading entrepreneurs. He is also part of the investment committee at Newport Partners.
Prior to joining Newport Partners, Will was a Managing Director of BMO Financial Group. His experiences included leading the team reporting to the Merger-management office, co-chaired by the respective Presidents of BMO and the Royal Bank of Canada. He also held Managing Director roles within BMO’s Private Client Group. He also is a successful entrepreneur, co-founding a number of businesses outside the financial services industry.
Will holds a Bachelor of Business Management from the Ted Rogers School of Business Management and an MBA from The London Business School / The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has also completed Studies at Harvard University, Columbia University, London School of Economics, and The Allen Executive Education Center, Northern University.
Will is also active in a number of charitable organizations including The Rally for Sick Kids with Cancer and Motoamoré.
